Did you ever watch the Austrailian TV series called Miss Fisher’s Hat? It’s not on any more, but it was a favorite of mine. It was set in the 1920’s. Miss Fisher was a very Modern woman and a Private Investigator. She always wore the fancy clothing of the era, including one stunning hat after another.

My guy, John, used to suggest I wear a hat like hers. Well, I am not a hat person. I would look foolish. I’m happy with my floppy cloth hat when it’s hot and sunny, or my knitted cap when it’s cold and snowy. However, I did write a tune that suggests that era and the spirit of the TV show. It told John, “I won’t wear one of those hats. This tune will have to do.”
