Recording in the comfort of home

I've been setting up a recording studio in my house. What a learning curve it has been! But I found some great courses online and some friends who were willing to be guinea pigs while I recorded, mixed, and mastered their music. Here are the results. I still have a lot to learn, but I thought it would be interesting to put them up here and watch the progression as I move along and get more experience. These are my first attempts.

Johanna Landis

Johanna is a dear friend, neighbor, and a wonderful musician. I'm pleased to have record her playing her Mason & Hamlin grand piano and singing this heartfelt classic.

Darby Tench Leight

Darby has written some tunes that show off her sense of humor and showmanship. She has performed on stage in opera and musical comedy, as well as one-man comedy acts. She pulled together a small group of people to help her record theses tunes.
